Throughout the NedCar organization, quality comes first. This starts with the way in which every employee has the right to reject anything which does not meet the quality standards, and ends when the car, having passed through a variety of manufacturing systems and processes, receives ‘Green OK’ status and is allowed to leave the factory.

Using a checklist of key performance indicators, no less than 400 items are inspected on every car. In addition, extra safety inspections are carried out and the operation of various systems, such as the driveline and the brakes, are subjected to additional testing. Lastly, every car is carefully checked for leakage.

This attention to quality is also evident in our internal systems and procedures. Our buyers, for example, make sure that the quality standards of our suppliers are just as high as our own standards.

As a result of NedCar’s quality and environmental management systems, the company has been awarded ISO 9001 and 14001 certification.
